Shipping & Delivery — What to Expect
This page explains how shipping and delivery work at UTKilts, including when orders ship, how they are delivered, and how to track your package once it is on its way. It also covers factors that can affect delivery timing and what to do if there is an issue with your shipment.
Shipping timelines vary depending on the item ordered, production status, destination, and selected shipping method. This page is designed to help set clear expectations and answer common delivery-related questions.
When Orders Ship (Production vs Shipping)
Shipping time begins only after an order has completed production and is ready to leave our facility or manufacturer. For items that are in stock, this typically means shipping shortly after the order is processed. For special order or made-to-order items, shipping occurs once production is complete.
Production time varies depending on the item ordered, materials selected, and where the item is being made. Estimated production timelines are provided on product listings when applicable and are separate from shipping transit time.
Once an order has shipped, delivery time is determined by the selected shipping method and destination. Transit times are handled by the carrier and are outside of our direct control.
Shipping Methods & Carriers
We offer multiple shipping options at checkout based on your location, the size of your order, and the items being shipped. Available methods and estimated transit times are displayed during checkout so you can choose the option that best fits your needs.
Shipping carriers and services may vary depending on the destination and the specific items in your order. In some cases, orders containing multiple items may ship separately if they are produced or fulfilled from different locations.
Once an order has shipped, it is handled by the selected carrier according to their delivery standards and policies.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. This allows you to follow your package as it moves through the carrier’s network toward delivery.
Tracking updates are provided directly by the carrier and may take time to appear or refresh, especially shortly after shipment or during peak shipping periods. Delays in tracking updates do not always indicate a delay in delivery.

Delivery Timeframes (What Affects Them)
Delivery timeframes depend on several factors, including the destination, selected shipping method, and when the order enters transit. Shipping estimates shown at checkout reflect carrier transit time only and do not include production or processing time.
External factors such as weather, holidays, peak shipping seasons, and carrier network volume can affect delivery speed. These conditions are outside of our control and may occasionally result in delays.
While we work to ship orders as efficiently as possible, delivery dates provided by carriers should be considered estimates rather than guaranteed arrival times.
International Orders & Duties
International orders include all applicable duties, taxes, and import fees calculated at checkout, so there are no surprise charges upon delivery.
While duties and taxes are prepaid, international shipments may still be subject to customs inspections by the destination country. Customs processing times vary by country and are outside of our control, and inspections may occasionally affect delivery timing.
Because required fees are handled in advance, customers should not be asked to pay additional duties or taxes when the order is delivered. If you have questions about an international shipment, we’re happy to help.
Address Accuracy & Delivery Issues
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. This includes correct street information, apartment or unit numbers, and any required delivery details.
If an address is entered incorrectly or incomplete, delivery delays, returns, or misdeliveries may occur. In some cases, carriers may be unable to deliver a package and it may be returned or require rerouting.
If you notice an address error after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible. While we will do our best to help, changes may not always be possible once an order has shipped.
Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages
Once an order has shipped, it is handled by the carrier during transit. Delivery delays can occur due to factors such as weather, carrier network volume, or routing issues.
If tracking shows a package as delivered but it has not been received, please allow up to 48 hours. It is very common for carriers to mark packages as delivered before they physically arrive, and many of these situations resolve on their own within that time frame.
If a package appears lost, remains undelivered after the waiting period, or arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always work with you to help ensure you receive what you ordered and will review the situation to determine the appropriate next steps.
