Frequently Asked Questions
Great question! Kilt sizing is not the same as your pants size . To get the perfect fit, you'll need to take a measurement rather than go by your jeans or trousers size.
Please follow our detailed guide on the Sizing Page to measure correctly. Here’s a quick rundown:
- Measure around your waist at the height where you want the top of your kilt to sit (usually at or just above your navel for traditional kilts, or at your belt line for utility kilts).
- Make sure the tape is snug—not tight or loose.
- Use that number in inches to select your kilt size.
For utility kilts , if your measurement falls between even sizes (e.g., 43”), the smaller size will provide a snug fit while the larger size will offer a looser fit. So at 43", a 42” would be snug, while a 44” would be more relaxed.
